This is Fujihara from Earth Institute of Language.

Today was the day of the school-wide BBQ party.

Just like last year, it is a big BBQ party with almost 150 people at Oizumi Ryokuchi Park near the school.

The weather was fantastic ！！！！！

There was no wind, so it was perfect condition for BBQ!

I believe it was because of everyone’s good daily conduct.

We have Students from many different countries come to Earth Institute of Language, but it is rare to have a party where everyone is together at the same time, so it was a lot of fun!

We took pictures, danced, jumped rope, threw Frisbees, played badminton, and so on,

Oh, by the way, we also cracked open a watermelon!　We call it “スイカ割り Suika-wari”

This was a lot of fun! And everyone was exited!!!!!

We blindfolded ourselves, spun around, and made a lot of noise around us.

We broke three of them,

Even though we broke all of them, someone were so enthusiastic,  was like “I still want to do it! “.

At that time, it was Ms. Hayakawa who suggested, “Shall we do it with potatoes?

And as for me….

I was taught by a student the difference in pronunciation between the Nepali word for “potato” and the Nepali word for “peach.

In the end, I could not master the pronunciation of each until the end…

After the BBQ was over,

I wondered what the next party would be where we could all get together,

I thought that maybe it will be a graduation party.

The graduation ceremony is only 10 months away.

It will be here soon.

It was a BBQ party that became the best memory for me.
