Eligibility for applicants

  1. The applicant must have completed a normal 12-year program of secondary school education in the home country or a foreign country.
  2. The applicant must have a sponsor who guarantees to pay the required academic fees and the necessary living costs of the applicant to study and live in Japan, and must be able to prove that the sponsor owns sufficient assets by producing bank documentation or other evidence.
  3. The applicant must have taken Japanese language classes for 150 hours or more and have Japanese language skills equivalent to the N5 or higher level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

Payment

At the time of application

Screening fee: 20,000 yen

At the time of enrollment

When the document screening by our school and the examination of resident eligibility by the Immigration Bureau are completed and a certificate of resident eligibility is issued, you will be notified of it directly by us or through our overseas office.
After the notification, please make the payment as in the table below and you will receive an admission letter and the certificate of resident eligibility in return for the certificate of payment.

  • Fees for the second year must be paid before the start of the first semester of the second year. The specific period for payment will be announced at that time.
  • Once the payment is made, it will not be refunded for any reason whatsoever.
  • Installment payment is available for fees other than the admission fee.

*Payment method
Tuition fees for the first year must be paid into the bank account designated by our school within one week of the issuance of the certificate of resident eligibility.

Application documents

  • Application for admission (all fields must be filled in by the applicant)
  • Resume
  • Written statement of reasons for studying Japan (must be prepared by the applicant)
  • Photo
    * Please attach seven copies of your ID photo.
    The photo must be a clear photo of the head and shoulders of the applicant with no headgear and a plain background, and must have been taken within three months prior to the application.
    The copies must be 4 cm height x 3 cm width.

Documents to be submitted

Unless otherwise specified, submit the originals (not copies) of all certifying documents.
For any certificates prepared in a language other than Japanese, please attach a Japanese translation to each of them. On the translated certificate, print the name, address, and phone number of the translator below the Japanese translation, along with his/her seal or signature to the right of his/her name.

Certificates

  1. Documents certifying the academic background
    • Graduation certificate for the final academic stage
    • Academic report
    • If the applicant is still in school, submit the following documents issued by the school:
      – Certificate of enrollment
      – Academic report
  2. Documents certifying study of the Japanese language
    • If you have passed any level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, submit the original copies of the certificate and your scores. If you have taken the test but failed, submit the original copy of your scores.
    • If you have taken any Japanese classes at high school or university, submit your report.
    • If you have attended any Japanese language school, submit your certificate of completion.
  3. Certificate of employment (if the applicant is still in office)

Documents related to the payment of fees

  • Certificate of bank account deposit

If a family member (eg: father, mother, husband, wife) will be paying the fees:

  • Letter of agreement regarding the payment
  • Certificate of deposit balance, income certificate, and certificate of employment of the person who will pay the fees
  • Document that proves the relationship (e.g. a copy of the family register)

Copy of the passport

Submit the copies of all pages of the passport except blank pages.

Other

Any other document required by our school
* The procedures to apply for the certificate of eligibility, which is necessary for foreign students to obtain a visa, will be undertaken by the Japanese language school, as prescribed by the Immigration Bureau of the Ministry of Justice.
